I'm a Big Kid Now

I haven't blogged in a while...sorry about that, if you even care. I have a good reason though...

I'm a big kid now!!! (No, I did not just start wearing Pull-Ups...McKynley has though, yay McKynley!!!)

I finally moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment, well I share it with my cousin and my sister, but still.  I like it a lot, because now we actually live in Little Rock and instead of having to drive forever to get somewhere now it only takes a few minutes to get anywhere we would want to go.

Plus now we get to do our own grocery shopping, yes I know we could have done that before we moved out...but there is just something a lot more fun about buying stuff for your own place. We get to decide what we want to do everyday and when we want to do it, it makes me happy and it kinda makes me wonder why we didn't move out years ago.

The downside however, is having people live in an apartment above you. Our upstairs neighbors stomp every step they take and have six little kids who like to bounce basketballs in the middle of the night...which causes the lights in my sister's room to shake.  Like really, can you not play basketball in the day time at the indoor basketball court that is provided by the apartment complex?!?!

Oh and then there are the people that like to scream all the time...the other day I heard a woman yell "I'm trying to fucking pee!" I don't really care to hear when you need to go to the bathroom, please be quite. There are also the OCD people that vacuum all the time. All of this is very entertaining though. You never know what you are going to hear.

There are three guys that live beside us. They hardly ever come out of their apartment and the only time I have ever seen them it was dark outside, I could still tell they were cute though.  They have a really annoying dog that barks all the time.

It has been really fun so far living on our own and this is only the first week.

  1. I somehow got here and saw your posting Moving out is one big step for getting independent. I remember how I managed to live a week without one buck. Wish you good luck~!
