I am addicted to Twitter and I have no problem admitting it (obviously since I just did.)
I remember last year when everyone's love for Myspace started coming to an end, my bulletin board was filled with post entitled "Follow Me On Twitter" but I didn't give into them just yet. There was a point when these bulletins were even beginning to annoy me. One day that all changed when I saw that Blake Lewis posted that he was now a member of Twitter. I gave in...I had to join now, the idea of Blake letting us inside his everyday life was amazing to me.
It took me a long time to build up a good amount of followers, but once I did I was constantly tweeting. Not many of my "real" friends have Twitter and if they do most of them have stopped following me, probably because they think I tweet too much. (Honestly though I am not as attached to it as I used to be.) There are also a few of them that have it but they stopped using it because they say it is boring...or they don't understand how it works.
Well yes it is going to be boring if you send out two tweets and then give up, because you never really gave anyone a chance to follow you, therefore you never really had anyone to talk to. I also thought it was boring at first but I didn't give up on it and now I have many new friends because of it...even a few famous ones.
PS: I know I said this update was going to be about Candlebox, well too bad I lied. Next time...promise! :)
